Harry Potter Easy Reader Books. Remind your kids that they are working hard and soon Harry Potter will be possible. Thanks Bloomsbury for a gorgeous set of Harry Potter books--these are fun to look at and to hold and they will certainly look colorful on the book shelf.
Brown books for my son the year he turned 9 doing exactly this and he went from reading 1st- and 2nd- grade level readers to Harry Potter in the span of about a month. Rowling Catching Fire by Suzanne Colli. One thing to note is that kids in this age group have a wide range of reading levels spanning all the way from those just starting to read on their own to Harry Potter-level readers.
I included a mix of levels on this list but most of the books are considered chapter books.
The English in this book. I already have some ideas but please request in the comments if youd like a story. The Harry Potter series is for children. One disadvantage is that in order to be simplified the stories are almost always abridged especially if its a retelling of a classic.
